This e-mail to the Writing Corner inspired this Seek A Word: I am Maria from Kerala. As it is November now, we are celebrating Kerala Day. Kerala Day is celebrated on Nov 1st every year. Long ago Lord Parsuraman threw his axe over the Arabian sea which formed beautiful Kerala. Kerala is famous for its blackwaters and coconut trees. Many boat races take place in Kerala. The traditional dance of Kerala is Mohiniyattom. Everybody here speaks Malayalam. And I would love telling you that Malayalam when spelt backwards remains the same!
