Decorate a Flowerpot

Have some fun this season by adding a personal touch to your outdoor flowerpots.

What you need:

Clay flowerpots - any size

Pencil

Paints or Markers

Shellac (optional)

Paintbrush(es)

What you do:

1. Plan a design or pattern for your pot. Draw it on with pencil.

2. Fill in your design or pattern with colour using markers or paint.

3. If you have painted your pot, allow paint to dry. Cover the outside of the pot with shellac to protect your artwork.

4. For fun you can paint a face on the pot and plant grass seeds in the pot. Allow the grass to grow, then give your face a haircut.
